Party Like a Rockstar: Ted Nugent’s Drummer Arrested for Nabbing a Golf Cart

“Did you take the golf cart covers with you?”

This could probably be the most candid question police officers can throw at Mick Brown after a lawful encounter on Sunday.

Brown was arrested for DUI, theft and assault among other chargers according to the Rolling Stone news report. The official police report stated that several people had already attempted to stop the drummer who was recklessly driving the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Brown was caught while at it – while he was still driving the allegedly stolen golf cart, which is from Bangor’s waterfront pavilion. The Ted Nugent band performed with Styx and REO Speedwagon earlier at the venue. An officer also reported that Brown had two female passengers on board during his driving spree.

An intoxicated Brown tried to stage an escape with the golf cart when officers attempted a confrontation. While at it, Mick was able to shove an officer away from the cart before he was pulled over by another and taken out of the vehicle.

“The environmentalist love what I have done”: Donald Trump Opens £100m Golf Course in Aberdeenshire

The Trump has unveiled his controversial fairway.

The world’s biggest property mogul is yet again under the spotlight. But this time, Donald Trump’s newest project has some controversy in the bag.

On July 10th, The Donald drove the first ball in his Scottish fairway. In a news article from The Guardian UK, Trump claims that this project is the “greatest golf course in the world”. However, environmentalists and property neighbors think otherwise.

Former Ryder Cup captain, Colin Montgomerie was instrumental in the acquisition of the land despite disapproval of the Scottish Wildlife Trust. The property with a stunning view of the Northern Sea has been selected as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) because of the gradual northward movement of the sand dunes in the area.

Golf Pro All-Stars: A Tribute to Bo Van Pelt

Van Pelt preparing to make a shot at the recently concluded
AT & T National Tournamnent

It is interesting to know that a person can be likened to a golf cart cover. But before you give me that weird look, read on and find out how and why…

Bo Van Pelt is pretty plain – and normal. He was born in Richmond, Indiana on 16th day of May in 1975.  His discipline and love for sports evidently came from the Van Pelt family. Bob, Bo’s father, was into football back in the day. In 1967, Bob was given a break when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles at the NFL following his collegiate career in Indiana.

Currently, Bo lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his wife and children. It was 1998 when he completed a degree in General Business from the Oklahoma State University. In the same year, Bo turned pro after three wins in amateur tournaments. He won the Indiana (Boys) State Junior twice and the Northern Amateur in 1995. Bo reigned at the Indiana tournament in 1991 and in 1993.

Swinging Back: Tiger Woods’ 74th PGA Tour Win at the AT&T

Tiger Woods with his AT & T 2012 Trophy
A writer from the Chicago Post had a really good take on Tiger Wood’s recent win at the AT & T national tournament at the Congressional Country Club. Don Markus fondly recalled a Tiger Woods of the older days. A golfing champ who have not gone through a public mishap making him less appreciative of his playing environment and the supports who came to see him play.

Tiger Woods seemed renewed as he interacted more with the crowd prior his win last Sunday. Acknowledging military officers waiting at the 18th tee and giving cheerful high-fives to fans are somewhat to the returning tiger of the fairway.

Bo Van Pelt recognized the good play that Tiger has been putting on this season despite his loss at the AT & T. He notes that Woods is probably the only player to win three tournaments on different courses this year. “I’d say that he’s playing the best golf in the world right now.” Van Pelt said.

Rust Will Eat Your Investments

Protect your investment from your worst nightmare.  Rust will kill and destroy your cars, trucks, golf carts, vans and even your structures at home.  These iron oxides are dangerous to your prized possessions.   Water is the main catalyst that is why a car cover or a golf cart cover is needed to prevent metal from rusting.  This dangerous oxide compound, when not contained, will make the structure brittle and flaky and eventually destroy the metal.
Here are some tips on how you can prevent rust from destroying your prized possessions:

Torn Between Your Precious Car And Your Wife’s Lovely Dog?

Driving a luxury car while simultaneously driving around with your wife’s dog may not be a great idea to begin with.  All the poops and the urine of your dog will just make your day crazy.    We are not just talking about these two but there is also the dog’s fur and the dirt that is under your dog’s feet.  With the help of a dog seat car cover, you’ll be able to do both without the hassle of letting go of the other one.

Here are some advantages of getting a pet car seat and a seat cover for your most valued car and your wife’s best friend:

   1.     Makes your dog comfortable while you’re on the road.
   2.     It keeps you focus with driving.
   3.     It keeps your seats clean from dog poops, urine, fur and      foot marks.
   4.     It protects your car seats from being scratched by your pet.
   5.     Security of your dog.  Most car seats for pets have safety buckles to prevent your dog from jumping around.

Google’s Self-Driving Golf Carts: Do You Want One for Yourself?

Self-driving cars aren’t exactly a good thing on the road. For one, it can cause life-threatening accidents not only to the driver but to the passengers and other people on the road as well. However, Google, with its ever-pioneering nature, started using self-driving golf carts within their property nearly two years, when they posted on their blog that several of their cars have already crossed the 140,000-mile mark.

The World Health Organization reports that automobile accidents take around 1.2 million lives all the time and Google aims to cut this figure by half – with self-driving golf carts. Last year, Google co-founder Sergey Brin reported that their golf carts have now been driven for over 1,000 miles without the need for driver intervention.
